"This is your last chance," Morpheus tells Neo, in the iconic 'red pill/blue pill' scene in The Matrix. "You take the blue pill, the story ends. You take the red pill... and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes."

As a software engineer who discovered Bitcoin years ago, I feel like I've been stumbling toward the rabbit hole for quite a while. And with "crypto" and "blockchain" suddenly mainstream topics, I've finally reached the edge; I stand on the precipice. It's time for a decision: red pill, or blue pill?

You already know the answer. Let's see how deep this thing goes!

No joke, we're looking for the bottom. Not the hype, not the hyperbole, and certainly not the scammy, money-grabbing nonsense. We're in search of real, bonefide, in-the-weeds tech. We'll read the papers and write the code and separate the signal from the noise. We'll see what there is to this decentralized future, and- if we can- help to build it as well.
